Join us each Sunday at 9:45am for our faith development program for adults. Topics for discussion may contain scripture, current events, books or other relevant topics.
Listed below is more detailed information on upcoming classes:
September 9-30: We will focus on Jesus’ “I Am” statements in the Gospel of John. John is a word-made-flesh gospel where Jesus uses aspects of his daily life—bread, light, vines, shepherds, gates—to help people touch and understand who he is and who God is. The class will look at what these metaphors would have meant in Jesus’ day, explore how they might still resonate in our lives today, as well as ponder what metaphors might better communicate in our modern world.
October 7 (Homecoming Weekend): Rev. Dr. Brian Ammons, Director of Spiritual Life and Chaplain at Warren Wilson College, will share about his work and ministry.
