A Joyful, Welcoming, Inclusive Community of Faith

Associate in Ministry

Grace BoyerGrace Boyer spent her early childhood in South Korea as the child and grandchild of Presbyterian Missionaries before her family moved to Hampton, Virginia in 1980.

Grace graduated from the College of William and Mary (double major in Math and Music), and earned Master’s degrees from the Presbyterian School of Christian Education, Columbia Theological Seminary, and Princeton Theological Seminary.  Before coming to Warren Wilson Presbyterian Church in October 2017, she had served as a Campus Ministry Intern (TN), an Associate College Chaplain (KY), an Associate Pastor (KY and FL), a yearlong PCUSA Volunteer in Mission (Costa Rica), an Associate Presbyter (NC) and an Interim Solo Pastor (NC).  Internationally, ministry has also taken her to Mexico, Israel/Palestine, Colombia, Jamaica, Malawi, and Guatemala and has given her a love for the diverse worldwide church.

Grace is married to Marc Mullinax, a professor at Mars Hill University.  Outside of ministry and family, her joys are music, walking, getting “therapy” from two cats (Maya and Dharma), and sitting by a creek, river, lake, or ocean—whatever water she can find!
