Announcements for December 7, 2025

WELCOME VISITORS If you are worshiping here for the first time today, welcome! We are glad to have you with us. Please fill out a visitor information card, located on the right as you enter the chapel, and place it in the offering plate.

OFFERING Plates are just inside the doors to the chapel as you enter and exit. Our gifts take many forms: open-hearted presence here, voices lifted in song, the prayers that rise in us, the material gifts we share with neighbors, and our willingness to live in a world as allies and advocates for those whose needs are overlooked. The monies we bring symbolize the offering of our lives in all circumstances. A separate labeled basket is available each week to receive Our Daily Change offerings.

COMMUNITY JOYS AND CONCERNS: If you would like to add or update a prayer request, please contact the church office.

We celebrate: All that made the Community Thanksgiving Meal a success⸰ A big thank you to our Stewardship Team for their great work on our annual stewardship campaign: Jack Allison, Vicki Collins, Pat Hardy, Pat Levi, Sharon Lytle, Ken Murchison

We remember in prayer:  The family of Howard Boswell (Warren Wilson College class of 1980) on his death November 17⸰ Jackie Wintle at home recovering from pneumonia ⸰ Natalie Daugherty as she waits to hear next steps on her health journey⸰ Ernst Laursen at Aston Park ⸰ Barbara Escalante after breaking her wrist

POINSETTIAS Order a poinsettia in honor or in memory of your loved ones.  These will be displayed in the front of the chapel to help celebrate the Christmas season, and can be taken home after the service on Christmas Eve.  Each poinsettia costs $12 and orders can be sent to Andrew in the church office by noon tomorrow (December 8) or look for the order forms and envelope in the narthextoday.

STEWARDSHIP UPDATE 100 Years of Service: The FUTURE is calling! This was the theme of this year’s Stewardship Campaign. We are pleased to announce that Warren Wilson Presbyterian Church heard the call to the future and responded with generosity. Our current commitment total is just under $236,000, which is almost 5% over our goal. We still have a couple of more commitments that we are expecting, SO GREAT JOB! In January we will have our annual congregational meeting where the 2026 budget will be presented to you and will make sure to let you know where the “above and beyond” money was allocated!
