WELCOME VISITORS If you are worshiping here for the first time today, welcome! We are glad to have you with us. Please fill out a visitor information card, located on the right as you enter the chapel, and place it in the offering plate.
OFFERING Plates are just inside the doors to the chapel or scan the QR code on the back of this bulletin. Our gifts take many forms: open-hearted presence here, voices lifted in song, the prayers that rise in us, the material gifts we share with neighbors, and our willingness to live in a world as allies and advocates for those whose needs are overlooked. The monies we bring symbolize the offering of our lives in all circumstances. A separate labeled basket is available each week to receive Our Daily Change offerings.

We celebrate: Cadence Cowal and the WNC Presbytery Youth Council mission team are back from Guatemala
We remember in prayer: We lift up the family of Jon Hettrick as they mourn the loss of his mother, Marjorie Hettrick, who passed away June 17. The funeral will be held on July 18th in Tennessee, further details TBA. ⸰ Chrisann Ohler had hip replacement surgery on June 22 ⸰ Pat Meehan had shoulder replacement surgery on June 26 ⸰ Pat Crumpler for ongoing health issues.
GUEST PIANIST Karen Boyd, a graduate of the Oberlin Conservatory and West Chester University, has been a piano teacher and performer in WNC for the past 35 years. She retires from the presidency of the Asheville Area Piano Forum in two days to become its treasurer.
Karen is one half of the Swannanoa Piano Duo – the other half of the duo is Dr. O. Wayne Smith.
SPIRITUAL NURTUREThe Spiritual Nurture team is excited to have received Session approval to introduce two, new child & family friendly spaces to our Sanctuary: a Pray-Ground and a Nursing area in the back of the Chapel! To make these areas comfortable and quiet, we’re soliciting help from the congregation. JULY 4th POTLUCK Join us for the July 4th potluck picnic next Sunday (July 5) after the worship service. Congregational Life will be supplying the hamburgers and hot dogs (regular and vegetarian), lemonade, and buns. A sign up sheet is available.
CHAMBER MUSIC SOCIETY Once again we are hosting the Chamber Music Society of the Carolinas in our sanctuary. They will be holding many rehearsals over the next few weeks and four different concerts each Saturday night July 11 – August 1 at 7:30.
