It is with great joy we announce that the Rev. Sarah Grace Montgomery will join the staff of Warren Wilson Presbyterian Church as our next Associate in Ministry.
Sarah Grace’s first official day here will be Wednesday, January 12th, and her first day in worship will be Sunday, the 16th.
Prior to joining our staff, Sarah Grace served most recently as the Associate Pastor at Brevard-Davidson River Presbyterian Church. She has extensive experience working with children and families, and currently serves as the Chair of our Presbytery’s Youth Committee.
“The search team tasked with filling this position was very enthusiastic about Sarah Grace’s candidacy,” said Pastor Steve Runholt. They thought that her experience was ideally suited to the position. They also felt that her her theological orientation and her commitment to and that her a perfect match for the
position, and serving vulnerable populations in the wider community were a wonderful fit with our congregation.”
Runholt added that after meeting with Sarah Grace himself, he understood why. “She was smart, warm, funny, and personable. We are very excited to welcome her to our staff!”
